Tim Davis, MFT Graduate Student Therapist

Schedule with Tim

Tim is currently working on his Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University, a COAMFTE-accredited program. Practicing as a student until December of 2026, Tim is under the supervision of Maggie Hatfield, LCMFT, ACHT. Tim received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Trinity Western University in British Columbia. Tim has training and experience in identifying and treating a variety of mental health issues, including posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and ADHD. Tim has also been trained to provide therapy for adult individuals and couples seeking treatment for a variety of emotional, behavioral, and relational issues.

Tim has received training from a systemic perspective, which interconnects patterns within an individual or couple’s social system, and focuses on relationships, interactions, and dynamics to create change. This approach helps clients understand how their current challenges might stem from a broader context and relationships in order to shift perspectives and patterns to improve overall well-being.

Tim will see clients on a sliding scale based on income on Wednesdays and Fridays.

In a past life, Tim has professional experience as a pilot, a care coordinator for adults with special needs, and a wedding photographer for over twenty years. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, customizing motorcycles, and perfecting his craft of latte art.
