Lizzy Davis, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Lizzy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. Lizzy is working on completing requirements for her clinical license, and is under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Jay, LCMFT. Lizzy received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Wichita State University in 2011. Lizzy has training and experience identifying and treating posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as complex trauma (c-PTSD). Lizzy has also provided therapy for individuals and couples seeking relief from a variety of emotional, behavioral, and relational issues.

Lizzy believes in accessible mental healthcare and is inspired by hope and vulnerability. She aims to create a warm, open, and empathetic environment to help clients identify and increase their mental and emotional strengths to promote healing, balance, and growth. Lizzy provides therapeutic services to adult individuals and couples from a systemic perspective and believes clients should have an active voice in their treatment process.         

In her free time, Lizzy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, listening to music and podcasts, reading, and all things Taylor Swift.
